Notes : KykAfrikaans is an anthology of concrete poetry by Willem Boshoff, first published in 1980, and is arguably the only full anthology of its kind in Afrikaans. KykAfrikaans can be characterized as a homage or farewell to the typewriter. The images were created using the typewriter as a drawing instrument, manipulating it to mimic movements as diverse as brushstrokes, carving, textiles, or soldiers marching with letters and words.In 1980 six poems were selected from KykAfrikaans and silkscreened in a limited edition. This new edition, printed in 2003, contains twelve poems different from the six previously published.
