Condition_report : The work is stretched but unframed, and the canvas is unlined. Please note the stretched canvas is significantly larger than the image size as per the dimensions published in the catalogue. The artist's handwritten colour notes, and some surface marks and smudging which are original to the work, are visible in the surrounding white border. There are minor inconsistencies in the depth and texture of the paint layer; this is most noticeable as a uneven and broken horizontal-diagonal line that appears across the lower half of the work, and is visible in the catalogue illustration; this is original to the work and is not indicative of any damage or restoration. Overall this work appears to be in good stable and original condition.
