Notes : The present lot is accompanied by a Mary Reynolds (ed) (2003) David Goldblatt: Particulars, Johannesburg: Goodman Gallery Editions, author's proof, hardcover, slipcase, signed and numbered 38/100. Five hundred copies of the book were printed. Of these, 100 copies and 20 author's proofs were supplied in handmade slipcases, each with a 20 by 25cm silver gelatin print, processed to archival standards, of one of four of the photographs in the book. The prints were made by Dennis da Silva of Silvertone International, Johannesburg.
