Condition_report : Original canvas, please note that the work appears to be sturdy and sound. Unlined. There appears to be a minor crease to the canvas running parallel to the lower edge of the work. Please note that upon closer inspection there appears to be minor buckling to the canvas within the upper left and right hand corners of the work. There are light surface cracks throughout the work as well as minor stretcher marks and associated minor loss along all four edges of the work. Please note that there are areas of minor surface loss, within the lower half of the work. The most noticeable measuring approximately 20 mm squared. There appears to be two areas of brown residue within the upper right hand corner of the work. There is a further area of residue within the lower left hand corner of the work measuring approximately 30mm squared. UV Light Inspection: Inspection under UV light further reveals the aforementioned residue however no signs of restoration or repair. Frame: Please note the work is framed in a wooden frame and stretched. Please note that this work has not be examined outside of its frame.
