Temitayo Ogunbiyi is a Nigerian visual artist born in 1984 in Rochester, New York. Currently based in Lagos, Nigeria, Ogunbiyi is known for his innovative approach to contemporary art, particularly in creating interactive playground installations that engage the community.
Ogunbiyi's artistic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and a master's degree in art history from Columbia University. His work often explores themes of play and community, as seen in his notable installation, "You Can Play in the Everyday, Running," exhibited at the Museo d'Arte Contemporanea Donnaregina in 2020. He has participated in several significant exhibitions, including the 12th Berlin Biennale in 2022, and has held a solo exhibition at the Van Abbe Museum in 2022.
