Ruby Swinney, born in 1992

Ruby Swinney is a South African painter born in 1992. Since graduating from the Michaelis School of Fine Arts in 2015, she has established herself in the contemporary art scene, primarily focusing on themes that explore the relationship between humanity and nature.

Swinney has hosted two solo exhibitions with Cape Town's WHATIFTHEWORLD gallery, as well as a notable solo show at AKINCI Gallery in Amsterdam. Her exhibition "Human Nature," held in 2018 at Zeitz MOCAA, South Africa's premier contemporary art museum, showcases her distinct style and thematic depth.

Her work is included in various public and private collections both in South Africa and internationally, reflecting her growing significance in the art market.
