Alet Swarts, born in 1963

Alet Swarts is a South African artist born in Johannesburg in 1963. Based in Pretoria, her art explores moments of awareness and consciousness. She studied Fine Arts at LAcademie des Beaux Arts de Meuron in Switzerland and earned a BA in Fine Arts with a focus on Information Design from the University of Pretoria.

Since 1983, Alet Swarts has been actively exhibiting her work. Notable among her solo exhibitions is "Defining Moments" from 2001, showcasing her unique perspective and thematic focus. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, where her work has been featured alongside other contemporary artists, highlighting her engagement with the art community.
