The rock-cut forecourt of the tomb, excavated high up in the sharply sloping side of the hill, provides only a relatively narrow, flat area in front of the facade. . . . Day by day as the chip poured out of the tomb and the fragments of broken pottery vessels increased in number the scribes in charge of the work selected the pieces best suited to the purpose and on them drew plans of as yet uncut tomb chambers and prelminary sketches for the decoration of the tomb. Condition / Notes: This is the scarce 1973 Arno Press facsimile reprint of the original 1942 Metropolitan Museum of Art Egyptian Expedition Publication (volume XV). The vintage volume is bound in yellow cloth covers with stamped gilt lettering on a black backdrop on the spine. The exterior is in excellent condition. The binding is solid.
