Decorative figure of a robustly detailed female, seated on a four-legged seat, holding hands to sides of rounded abdomen, and balanced upon her head is a spherical bowl with a fitted lid in the form of a firespitter mask. The female figure bears a zoomorphic face with extended snout, semicircular eyes, and hair in tall crest with pointed tassels surrounding head. Traces of oil around bowl and on face. Fingers of left hand lost, age cracks, else intact. This lot was vetted out of our Fine Tribal Art auction.
