White colored masks were worn for funeral memorials and also in magical rites whose function was to unmask sorcerer. Black colored masks were said to have a judiciary function. Masks are worn today to entertain on festive occasions. Characteristics include high domed foreheads and elaborate coiffures. Unmarked. Condition good, some surface finish loss. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 11H x 8W
