Description : African Art Metal male head sculpture in the style of The Bronze Heads from Ife. Appears to be bronze metal, possibly other metal alloy. Sculpture features slightly larger than life-size male head with ribbed ring style texture in the neck and etched striped texture in face. Pierced holes along the brain case, possibly due to the casting process. Measures approx 16 inches in height by 5.75 inches in diameter at base. Some wear like discoloration consistent with age. There is dent in top of head, as noted in photo.
