This is the rating and price for Graeco-Persian Bronze Attachment Stylized Griffin

Description : Ancient Near East, Graeco-Persian culture, ca. 3rd century BCE. A fascinating bronze attachment in the stylized head of a griffin, presenting the head of an eagle with a prominent curved beak and the body of a lion, sitting with legs folded. The griffin, half eagle and half lion, was a fierce symbol of divine power. The tradition was long lasting - we know of examples from ancient Iran and Egypt that are from ca. 3000 BCE - and the animal continued to appear in classically-inspired art into the early modern period.
