Flinders Petrie, including Stonehenge: Plans, Description, and Theories, Hierakonpolis, and The Temple of the Kings at Abydos. The latter two volumes listed above are the eighth and fourth memoirs of the Egyptian Research Account. Also present in this lot are the first, fifth, ninth, tenth, and eleventh memoirs. It should be noted that a number of these are large-format volumes. This collection of books is from the holdings of Archaeologia Books and Prints. Established in 1983, Archaeologia was known for providing scholarly books of quality on the archaeology of Ancient Egypt, the Near East, Greece & Rome, and the Pre-Columbian Americas.
