Description : An Egyptian turquoise glazed steatite 'Jubilee' scarab New Kingdom, circa 1386-1349 B.C. Finely carved on the underside with the cartouche of Amenhotep III, 'Neb-maat-re' and a kneeling figure of eternity, 'may he live eternally', the upper body with finely incised details of the wing case and leg hairs, 18mm.
