Description : Superb necklace (acq. 1906 Egypt, Dubois, exhibited museums: Met NY 1920, Boston 1945, MoM CA 1968) composed of 11 carnelian tubular beads (1 1/2- 3/4 (3.5cm-1.5cm ) of varied colors & sizes (possibly Mesopatamian), interspersed with 12 ancient gold beads (1/4dia,) & 10 green quartz & feldspar beads(1/2-1/4dia). Newer gold clasp on each end. Mr. & Mrs. Goddard Dubois Antiquities Collection.
