This is the rating and price for Canaanite. Early Bronze Age, Circa 3000-2300 Bce. Terra, 3000

Description : CANAANITE. Early Bronze Age, circa 3000-2300 BCE. Terracotta spouted vessel. Of buff red and brown clay with whitish limestone slip, ovoid form, 6 inches (15.24 cm) in diameter, with broad mouth, flat base, loop handle and short, open, flaring spout. The midsection delicately and attractively decorated with a row of incised chevrons. Expertly restored from three large fragments. For a related example, see R. Amiran, Ancient Pottery of the Holy Land, page 200, photo 212. From The Living Torah Museum Collection, ex Michael Kaufman Collection, acquired by private donation. Pottery of ancient Palestine, termed Canaanite in its earliest form, was generally functional in design and manufacture, as dictated by the economic needs of the region, which lacked the luxury-loving wealthy classes in the nearby kingdoms of Babylon, Assyria, Egypt, Crete and Cyprus.
