The majority of the plates measure up to 22x30 overall, with several folded maps and panels exceeding those dimensions when extended. These 80 plates are sold together with several antique boards, folio covers, text blocks, marbled endpapers, etc. This collection of plates is from the holdings of Archaeologia Books and Prints. Established in 1983, Archaeologia was known for providing scholarly books of quality on the archaeology of Ancient Egypt, the Near East, Greece & Rome, and the Pre-Columbian Americas.
