Description : The carved and painted wood mask attributed to the African Yaka People of the Congo with braided wood circles over wrapped raffia and raffia two-tiered headdress above slotted eyes and angular open mouth having pointed top and bottom teeth painted white. the open fiber weave extends on the back of the mask. In the past, these masks were burned after the ceremony, now they are being kept and collected, and displayed after the ceremony is over. Measures 15.5 x 11.5 x 9.5 inches. We happily provide seamless in-house packing and shipping services on nearly everything we sell. Until further notice, we cannot offer international shipping in-house.
