Description : H. 36,5 cm. Beautiful oval mask with the gaze turned inward, high narrow coiffure with stylized double axe, zigzag beard. Coiffure with pattern finely engraved and painted with white and light brown natural pigments. Hardwood with red-brown patina and old black-brown earth crust. Round parts at coiffure broken off and repaired, masks inner rim dam. Formerly collection of Heinrich Götz. (180)
