Description : scarab engraved underneath with the name of the lady Te Tu-khet, length 1.5 cm.; a brilliant blue faience scarab from the reign of Tuthmosis III, 1490-1439 B.C., the base finely carved in sunk relief with the prenomen of the king above the name of Amun, length 1.7 cm.; a steatite scarab, Hyksos Domination, circa 1650-1540 B.C., carved with a lion couchant beneath a field of spirals, length 1.9 cm.; a blue-green glazed steatite scarab, 12th Dynasty, period of Sesostris III, 1878-1842 B.C., the base carved in sunk relief with titles and the prenomen of the king within a cartouche, the flaw on the wingcase partially enclosed by hatching, length 3.4 cm.; a white glazed steatite scarab, 2nd Intermediate Period, 1715-1540 B.C., carved with the Horus Falcon wearing the crown of Lower Egypt within a meander border, length 2 cm.; a blue-green glazed steatite scarab, early 18th Dynasty, circa 1540-1450 B.C., engraved with a quatrefoil and spirals, length 1.5 cm.; a blue glazed steatite scarab, 12th/13th Dynasty, 1938-1650 B.C., carved with a decorative pattern in four registers, length 2.1 cm.; a blue glazed steatite scarab, regency of Queen Hatshepsut, 1479-1458 B.C., carved in sunk relief with the royal bee, length 1.45 cm.; a blue glazed steatite scarab, 19th Dynasty, reign of Ramesses II, 1290-1224 B.C., carved in sunk relief with the king standing before the god Ptah, length 1.95 cm.; a black jasper or obsidian scarab, 18th Dynasty, 1540-1305 B.C, inscribed with the name of the lady Merit-Amun, length 1.25 cm.; a small blue glazed steatite scarab, 19th Dynasty, 1305-1196 B.C., carved with the name of Amun, length 0.8 cm.; a blue faience prism seal, 18th Dynasty, reign of Tuthmosis III, 1490-1439 B.C., each side carved with the prenomen of the king and other inscriptions, length 1.4 cm.; a turquoise glazed steatite cylinder seal, 18th Dynasty, reign of Amenhotep I, 1529-1508 B.C., carved in sunk relief with two panels each showing the king striding to right and holding a crook, a third panel containing the prenomen of the king, length 2.3 cm.; a turquoise faience ring fragment, 18th Dynasty, reign of Ay, 1337-1332 B.C., the bezel carved in sunk relief with the prenomen of the King, Kheperkheprure, length 2.8 cm.; and a blue-green glazed steatite scarab, 18th Dynasty, reign of Tuthmosis III, 1490-1439 B.C., carved with the prenomen of the king and the name of Amun, length 1.7 cm.
