Description : Up for bid are two grade-A ( no putty or clay) 50 million year old North African Otodus obliquus fossil sharks teeth. Otodus obliquus is a extinct Mackerel Shark that lived approximately 55 million years ago. Beautifully colored teeth from the phosphate pits in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco. These teeth are all hand-selected.The Great Grandfather of the megalodon. Great natural science gift. The mines are located about 70km north of Marrakesh. The deposits are about 50mys. old (Eocene}. Included is one fine specimen of vandinite.Vanadinite is a mineral belonging to the apatite group of phosphates, with the chemical formula Pb5(VO4)3Cl. It is one of the main industrial ores of the metal vanadium and a minor source of lead. A dense, brittle mineral, it is usually found in the form of red hexagonal crystals.AU-304
