This is the rating and price for Zoomorphic Mask Ikikpo Djiompre

Description : Zoomorphic mask ikikpo Djiompre, Nigeria wood, spotty, mat patina, of stylized form, a vaulted, furrowed forehead merging into a clamp-shaped mouth, covered with remains of clay-like mass, originally inset with abrus seeds, surmounted by curved horns forming a pointed oval, framed by a plant fibre cuff with feathers, min. dam., cracks, rep. (horns), small missing parts, slight signs of abrasion, the Djiompre are linguistically related to the Jukun and they are as well influenced by the neighbouring Chamba. They have a rich artistic tradition centered on architecture and mud sculpture, but make masks related to the Jukun masks as well. Their male buffalo mask ikikpo for instance, is a variation on the akuma mask of the Jukun. H: 42 cm, (5033/009) Literature Roberts, Allen F., The shape of belief, African art from the Dr. Michael R. Heide Collection, San Francisco 1997, p. 81, ill. 52
