This is the rating and price for [ Tribal ]

Description : Female figure in half relief Dogon, Mali wood, middle brown patina, short leg zone, the arms carved close to the body, clamp-like enclosing the trunk, with both hands resting in front of the abdomen, the figure dominated by voluminous breasts, the head with slanting face halves culminating in a raised vertical middle ridge, the facial plane concentrated on a rather small rectangular plane: pierced eyes flanking an arrow-shaped nose, the mouth situated at the flattened chin, slightly dam., cracks, missing parts (left foot, breasts, left ear and left side of the head), the figure flattened backside and mounted on a metal plate on pedestal, probably cut from a toguna post. In the northern part of a Dogon village, near the forge, is an open shed consisting of a roof supported by forked posts, which are carved on the outside. The decoration would seem to be limited to representations of woman with highly developed breasts. Here, in the toguna, the men meet to discuss village affairs or simply to rest.
