Description : African , Somalia or Ethiopia. Dark brown leather shield with linear geometric designs incised into the surface in bands. The shield has a raised central section creating a slight cone, numerous bulbous embossing or knots, and a raised outer lip. Very nice patina. Rare shield of the type that warriors would often never sell or gift similar to the known type of Danakil region warriors. Size 16 W
