Kongo wood, shiny, middle brown patina, fork-shaped legs supporting an armless torso, the face bisected by a notched nose ridge, min. dam., missing part (foot tip), cracks, the Ngbandi are an ethnical group of about 120000 people, living in the northwest of Zaire, east and south of the Oubangi river. This figure presumably depicting the sister/wife of yangba, equivalent of seto and nabo among the Ngbaka.
