Description : in shape with two nozzles at each end and six nozzles along the front, each with a striated band around the neck, within the double central rectangular border are three filler holes, the largest central hole with raised rim, with a thumb spur styled as a leaf behind, set on a rectangular raised base, with incised makers mark, 6in. (15.3cm.) long, two nozzles chipped, traces of burning Provenance: Acquired in 1976 from the London trade Cf. T. Szentléleky, Ancient Lamps, (Budapest 1969), pl.268a for a smaller less elaborate example.
