This is the rating and price for Neolithic African Sahara Stone Hand Axe

Description : North Africa, Morocco, ca. 15000 BCE (17,000 BP). An amazing and large handmade cutting tool knapped from a brown stone with red inclusions. The blade is shaped into an elongated form, with two convex faces and a rounded butt end opposite the cutting edge. The hefty tool appears to be a handheld axe but could possibly attach to a wooden handle with a cord. This piece would have served a variety of functions, such as cutting, scraping hides, and digging. This is a wonderful reminder of humankind's modest technological beginnings!
