This is the rating and price for Ndebele Beaded Doll Fine, 20th Century

Description :  ,Provenance: From a collection of African-made beads and beadwork  , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , displayed at the South Dakota Art Museum in 2011. Additional Information: , A large beaded doll wearing a wedding veil and a blanket, and an married woman apron. Absolutely magnificent! The Ndebele are one of the smallest tribes in South Africa, but are known worldwide for their geometric designs found on their painted houses and beadwork. This doll is dressed as a traditional Ndebele married woman, with a beaded apron, brass rings around the neck, and a beaded blanket. The style of the apron signifies that she has bore a child after being married. This was made by members of a women's co-op in KwaNdebele, South Africa. We visited them in South Africa last summer. For wonderful pictures and more information, see Margaret Courtney-Clarke's NDEBELE. I have examined this piece and agree with the description Niangi Batulukisi, PhD
