Notes : Provenance: The Todd Gordon Collection of African Art Purchased Sotheby's New York, 25 May 1999 (Lot 318)Condition report : - Various holes and areas of loss to wood in places, including a section above the legs, an area to the legs, and various sections to the reverse of figure. - Various cracks and chips throughout. - Patination uneven, areas of discolouration. - Figure has been adapted to fit its later stand. Figure comes free from stand.
