Description : DETAILED DESCRIPTION the helmet of ovoid form and pierced at the rim for attachment, the two recessed oval faces adorsed, each with pierced triangular eyes framing the medial ridge of raised nodules, the whole decorated with panels of repeating diamond and triangular motifs and terminating with a cylindrical finial supporting an elaborate coiffure of avian form, indigenous repairs, fine, encrusted surface with ochre, white and black pigments.
