This is the rating and price for Max Weber Seated Nude, 1910.0

Description : Max Weber Seated Nude. Pen and ink on tan wove paper, circa 1910- 12 375 x 287 mm: 14.75 x 11.75inches. Signed in ink, lower right. Born in Russia, Weber emigrated to the United States in 1891 and settled in Brooklyn. After studying with A. W. Dow at the Pratt Institute, He traveled to Paris and worked at the academie julien from 1905-6 with Matisse and Laurens. By the end of the decade, He had entered the circle of Appolinaire and Picasso, becoming an early practitioner of Cubism. The present drawing reveals Picasso's influence on Weber in the Cubist forms of the figure and the delineation of the face, which recalls the African masks that Picasso used often as sources in his work at the time.
