Description : large carved wooden slit drum from the Tabwa peoples or related ethnic group, Congo, central Africa. Large hollowed out log with slits to allow sound to travel. Great patina from handling and wonderful ancestor image on top. Includes old mallet. This drum has a nice tone and is quite playable.
