This is the rating and price for Kaka Figure

Description : Wood - 50 cm Nigeria Provenance: Harry A. Franklin Collection, Los Angeles Sotheby's, The Harry A. Franklin Family Collection of African Art, 21 Apr. 1990, New York, lot 154 John and Nicole Dintenfass, New York Galerie Martin Doustar, Brussels Private European Collection In the rare corpus of Kaka sculptures, the presented figure is one of the most abstract. Synthetized to the core by an assemblage of geometric surfaces, the artist didn't miss the point to generate humanity in its attitude. This is, with no doubt, the creation of a great artist. It can be related to the figure from the Kuhn collection auctioned by Sotheby's in 1991. Great crusted patina.
