Size : One 8 LOA.
Provenance : Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservation, and future acquisitions. According to museum records the African spear and knife were brought from Sir Henry Morton Stanley after his second expedition in 1876-1877. The kuba ceremonial knife was collected by an American Presbyterian missionary on a trip to the Congo.
Condition report : As-found condition, each with scattered minor to moderate losses, and with other imperfections.
