Description : New Kingdom, 1550-1070 BC. A glazed composition lower half statuette of Thoth in baboon form, sitting, resting his forepaws on his knees, tail curled around from the rear on the D-shaped base with slot to the underside, body fur well delineated and with square pectoral on the chest.
