Description : DESCRIPTION: Grouping of antiquities. Includes: 1) 1-1/8 carved scarab with provenance card from F.A. Mansoor Antiquities in Cairo noting it was found in a tomb near Abydos and inscribed with the name of King Thotmes III circa 1600 BC. 2) Cast bronze pharoah figure. 4-3/4. Overall patina and verdigris. 3) Three small figural faience amulets, each approximately 1-1/4 long, plus fragment of another. 4) Two rectangular amulets, one with animal and one with hieroglyphics. With Mansoor card. Smaller with edge losses. 5) Bronze coin with portrait of Emperor Maximinus II (305-314 AD). 1. 6) Silver plated bronze coin with portrait of Gordion (probably Gordion II, 3rd century AD). 7/8. MEASUREMENTS: See Description. CONDITION: Coins with patina and wear as expected. Amulets and scarab also with wear. See Description for additional condition issues.
