Description : Additional Information: , ,An elaborate African Bakongo fetish mask with fiber and cloth headdress. The mask is carved from wood, painted and decorated with metal buttons (possibly brass), with glass eyes (possibly plastic, but more likely glass). The headdress is composed of a woven basket attached to the wood mask, covered in wrapped in a straw fiber rope, with a fabric covering for the back. Democratic Republic of Congo, 20th century J.
