Size : 14 1/2 long 37 cm (approx.)Provenance : Mr. & Mrs. Goddard Dubois. Acquired Egypt 1900-06. Notes : Pearls have been prized during ancient times, the historian Suetonius wrote that the Roman general Vitellius financed an entire military campaign by selling just one of his mother's pearl earrings.Condition report : Quartz crystal pendant could have been replaced or from a later date.
