Description : Africa, 20th century. Composed of two pieces, the bottom a tripod vessel, the top a lid with human body figure. The bottom has three human legs with incised toe detail and carved net design around bowl. Top has a human body coming out of the lid, with arms hanging down and breasts exposed. The large size of the waist suggests this may have been a fertility vessel, where offerings were placed in the center. 23H.
