Description : Africa, ca. Early 20th Century. A carved wooden pulley with head of a bird on handle. Bird's head is facing down with beak running parallel to body of pulley. Holes on either side of rectangular receptor where dowel would have been attached. 8H Provenance: Ex-Byron Farwell Collection.
