Description : Circa 2nd-3rd Century A.D. The dark brown glazed body moulded in relief with diagonal swirling striations and two raised bands at the base of the short cylindrical neck, the wide ridged rim and vessel interior turquoise glazed, and the strap handles attached beneath the rim and joined to the shoulder with turquoise glazed foliate terminals, 7 3/4 in. (19.7cm.) high, 6 3/4 in. (17.1cm.) diam., a section of rim missing and crumbling
