Description : of hollowed oval form, and pierced around the rim numerous times for the attachment of a headdress, deeply carved, with broad raised pierced lips showing holes on the underside of the upper lip, beneath a straight nose with distinct crescent nostrils flanked by large oval half-closed pierced eyes deeply set in the planar sockets beneath a broad protruding flange decorated with three parallel lines at the top, exceptionally fine and varied medium brown patina overall.
