Loveridge & Co., also engraved with the crest of Oldham (Manchester) and the motto HAUD FACILE CAPTU below the battle honour for Egypt, and named to MAJOR J.J. MIDGLEY 5TH V.B. MANCHR REGT FWT, ebonised haft, metal ferrule, 89cm long over all.
