Kafigeledio, or 'oracle figure', these mysterious objects were used by only the highest-ranking individuals in society for divination. The figures themselves, as well as the ritual practice in which they are used are both known as kafigeledjo ("he who speaks the truth"). This practice is still shrouded in much secrecy. The condition is consistent with age; the feathers are loose, the stitching seems to be very tight and there has been excellent restoration to the left foot. Everything is intact. Not including the base, the figure measures 18 x 5 x 4 in. (length x width x height).
