Otodus obliquus is a extinct Mackerel Shark that lived approximately 55 million years ago. Beautifully colored teeth from the phosphate pits in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco. These teeth are all hand-selected.The Great Grandfather of the megalodon. Great natural science gift. The mines are located about 70km north of Marrakesh. The deposits are about 50mys. old (Eocene}.
