Drilled holes on lower face for attachment of raffia or other material. Likely a Lega mask from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. 8.5H x 6.5W. Upright, oblong basket woven from dyed plant material in alternating dark/light diamond pattern. Only practical for carrying light weight items.13.5H x 8diameter. Both mask and basket are unmarked, condition as seen and 20th century.
