Some of the pictures by Wolf Kibel who will hold an exhibition of his work in Cape Town shortly. The collection includes oils and pastels one of each being reproduced here together with a photograph of the artist in his studio working on a copy of a picture by Rembrandt. Kibel loved Rembrandt's work and Lippy Lipshitz who opened this exhibition explained how, in the copy, Kibel made his own interpretation of the work. Lipshitz was a great friend of Kibel's and deeply appreciative of his work'.
