Anmerkung :
Condition_report : David Goldblatt's "Lulu Gebasne and Solomon Mlutshana, Mofolo Park, Soweto" (1972) is in nearly excellent condition. The surface is bright, clean, and lustrous, with rich, delineated tones. The print appears to be ferrotyped, and evidences some of the tiny inconsistencies associated with that process, largely in raking light. These are not distracting or obtrusive. With close inspection in strong, raking light, it is also possible to find a tiny handling mark near the lower right edge. This is minor and not at all immediately apparent. The margins and verso are also overall bright and clean. There are a couple tiny creases near the edges, but these do not impact the image area and should also be considered minor. With a South African customs stamp with date 1976, and numeric notations in pencil on verso.Provenance: Acquired directly from the Artist by Barry Callaghan in the mid-1970s; to Stephen Bulger Gallery in 2012The full title is Lulu Gebasne and Solomon Mlutshana Who Both Work in the City's Record Store, Mofolo Park, September 17, 1972.
