A famous 18th century novel attributed to Simon Berrington (a Catholic priest) of an imaginary voyage to the remote African country of Mezzoraim in the Sahara Desert populated by a race described as descending from & having a similar supposed social system to the ancient Egyptians. The book is sometimes described as an early Lost Race novel. With many many details describing the people & their life habits & customs and the author's supposed travels & activities among them.
