She originally had the head of a lion or a desert sand-cat and it was not until the 22nd Dynasty (c.?945–715 BC), that she was transformed from a lioness warrior deity into a major protector deity represented as a cat. Provenance: Originally from the estate of Anita Loos (1889 -1981) an American screenwriter, playwright and author, best known for her blockbuster comic novel, Gentlemen Prefer Blonds.
